About Us

Dr. Sowash is a Kansas native who has a passion for building relationships with her patients and providing them with excellent care. She is a proud graduate of Benedictine College, where she received her degree in biologyand Spanish. She earned her optometry degree from Arizona College of Optometry in 2016 and moved to Colorado with her husband shortly after. After practicing in Denver, they made their way to her hometown to be closer to family. In her free time, she enjoys chasing after her toddler, playing cards with family, and watching the Royals. Dr. Sowash is excited to be back in Kansas City and practicing with the crew of Blue Valley Vision.
